Production Work: My professors were right

By on May 3, 2013

I recently put together 500 hand-cut raffle tickets for a charity event. The tickets were numbered 1-500 and featured a scored flap that could be torn way and kept by the ticket buyer. That was a lot of work. I haven’t had a project like that in a while that required so much ambitious production work. Sure, my x-acto knife and I spend a ton of time together. But this was extreme.

My college professors were right. If you’re gonna be a graphic designer, you need to be good at cutting!

The end result was fantastic. My client was happy and in the end, that’s really the ultimate goal.
